Vehicle Description

This 1966 Batmobile replica is by far one of the nicest in the country and by far the nicest that is currently for sale. Based on a 1976 Lincoln, the car has gone through a complete restoration with all components being new or rebuilt. Before the body was placed on the frame, the entire frame was sent away to be cleaned and media blasted. The body is from Batrodz in Long Island New York who makes some of the most complete, well constructed Batmobile bodies in the nation. The car was completed around a year ago and looks as good as it did from day one. The paint is nearly perfect, all body panels line up with no issues and the hood and trunk close tight. The doors open with electric poppers inside the car. The hood and trunk are both powered by electric actuators that will lift and raise them with a flick of the switch. All lights and strobes are fully functional on the outside as well as the inside. The red stripes are painted on and not vinyl stickers like most of these replicas. Inside, the seats are from a 66 Mustang and are finished in black vinyl with red piping. The black carpeting with red piping looks great inside and is nearly perfect with no wear to be found. The center console is lined with switches, buttons, knobs and every bat thing you could think of. Most switches are functional and control the lights, actuators, Batbeam, bat computers and simulated jet engine. Other options inside include working roll-top dash, custom Bat steering wheel, push-button start, In-dash TV, PS2 video gaming system, DVD players, working Batbeam, Bat beacon, Bat phone (non-working), Detect-A-Scope and two lighted showcases behind the seats. Under the hood is a freshly rebuilt Ford 460 CID engine with a mild cam. The motor and automatic transmission were both completely rebuilt about a year ago. With a turn of the key, the car starts with no problems and goes down the road very smooth. Speaking of going down the road, I hope you like attention because this will draw more then any million dollar exotic or full classic in the world. People are absolutely drawn to this car and will take more pictures of you then you can ever imagine. The Rader wheels are wrapped with brand new BF Goodrich Radial TA Comps and have custom Batman center caps. The car looks and runs great and needs absolutely nothing! By far, one of, if not the nicest in the country.

About Us

Branson Auto Museum was conceived in August of 2007 and opened on May 15, 2009. Partners in the Museum, knew that the Branson area was hungry for car and automotive related things to do. Branson Auto Museum was originally scheduled to go into a purpose built 20,000 sq. ft. building on the Strip. When the partners discovered that the former crafts mall the "Engler Block" was available, they knew it would be the perfect fit for what they were planning. The buiding is layed out in sections that wander through the building which is the ideal setting for a museum. The charm and character of the building also lends itself nicely to a museum.
